Colorectal Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States. Now
is the time to start improving your colon and intestinal health. Why
take a handful of different pills when a single, inexpensive supplement
is now available. Supplement is Vegan and does not include sugar, salt,
yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, dairy, preservatives, artificial
colors or artificial flavors. Several factors may influence the
development of polyps and cancer, including genetics, obesity,
cigarette smoking, excessive red meat intake. Studies have also shown
that deficiencies in Calcium, Vitamin D, Selenium and Vitamin B6, have
also been associated with an increased risk of polyp formation and
possibly leading to cancer. Calcium and Vitamin D can be obtained
through diet; however, a large number of Americans are not be consuming
enough Calcium or Vitamin D, particularly those that are on restrictive
diets, such as a lactose or gluten-free diet, or do not have enough sun
exposure. ColoVite has been formulated by board certified
gastroenterologists with years of clinical and research experience. For
years they have recommended the individual ingredients to promote
colorectal health, and have now created a simple, single, daily
supplement. Our supplement can help you reach the recommended adequate
intake of these nutrients. If you are pregnant or nursing, please consult your physician prior to taking ColoVite.

One pill includes all the nutrients listed below:
Calcium:
Calcium is responsible for blood vessel expansion, secretion of
hormones and enzymes. The body strives to maintain a constant level of
Calcium in the blood, muscle and intercellular fluids. Many people find
it difficult to get enough calcium in through diet alone. The National
Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in 2000, revealed that most
adults do not ingest the recommended amounts. Calcium supplementation
was studied in a randomized clinical trial, the Calcium Polyp Prevention
Study. Calcium Citrate can be more easily absorbed than other forms of
Calcium, particularly in people taking acid-reducing medications.
Vitamin D: Improving
Vitamin D levels is currently recommended by physicians for optimal
health. A large number of people may be low in Vitamin D, particularly
those with limited sun exposure. Vitamin D is important in Calcium
metabolism and absorption. A landmark study, called the Women’s Health
Initiative, looked at Vitamin D supplementation and found an association
between Vitamin intake and a reduction in Colorectal Cancer. Vitamin D3
could be more than three times as effective as vitamin D2 in raising
serum 25(OH)D concentrations, the active hormone of Vitamin D, and
maintaining those levels for a longer time.
Vitamin B6: Performing
a wide variety of functions, B6 is important in cell metabolism as well
as the nervous and immune system. Vitamin B6 has been studied in
colorectal health including the Nurses Health Study involving over
32,000 participants.
Selenium: Selenium
is an antioxidant. Studies on Selenium and Colorectal Polyps and Cancer
have been published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.
Some scientific evidence suggests that consumption of Selenium may be
associated with a decreased incidence of certain forms of cancer.
Magnesium: Magnesium
may help promote Calcium absorption and is involved in over 300
biochemical reactions in the body. Recent studies, including the Iowa
Women’s health study that enrolled more than 35,000 people, have looked
at the relationship between Magnesium and Colorectal Cancer.
